Our day to day business practices are in line with our products to meet what we feel is the highest standard of sustainable business.
- Our products are 100% from the US, nothing is shipped overseas.
- We are proud members of 1% for the Planet, Co-op America as well as the Sustainable Business Council for the state of Montana.
- We use recycled paper in as many areas of our business as possible, including our business cards, bags, printer paper, paper towels and toilet paper, our hang tags and all promotional materials are printed by Greenerprinter.
- Our credit card processing is done through Fees to Fund, a program that directly supports local non-profits. A portion of each credit card processing fee is returned to a Montana non-profit called Red Feather Development Group, who educates and empowers American Indian nations to create sustainable solutions to the severe housing crisis within reservation communities.
- Our web site is designed and managed by King of All Trades Design, who focuses on eco-friendly, sustainable, and socially conscious clients.
- We are carbon neutral through NativeEnergy. This includes my business car, shipping, receiving and the electricity for all of our artists in their home offices.

Bella Madre Organics was recently featured in the Guide to Ending Sweatshops published by Co-Op America. Our organic cotton sling appeared in the "Building a Sweat-Free Warddrobe" spread. Check it out on Co-Op America's web site, and help end sweatshops and unfair labor practices.

Located in Missoula, MT, the Sustainable Business Council (SBC) supports businesses that would like to pursue more environmentally and socially sustainable practices, while maintaining or enhancing their economic viability.
